FITNESS CENTER GUIDELINES

  • You must be a member (annual, monthly, daily) to use the fitness area. 
  • You must be at least 14 years old to use the fitness area.
  • Ages 14-15 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian in the Group Fitness*/Cardio/Weight Rooms and racquetball court.
  • Ages 16+ have full access* with gym membership/daily guest fee. *(Fitness classes require an additional fee not included with GP membership or guest fee).
  • The Group Fitness Classroom is for scheduled group classes only, not for individual use.
  • We recommend that all members sign up for a free ½-hour orientation session with one or our trainers, to learn how to safely use the equipment before utilizing the fitness facility for the first time.
  • Youth 14-17 must wear goggles when playing racquetball.
  • Please put all weights and equipment back after use.
  • Please do not use the mat area for dead lifts, but contain all dead lifting within the squat rack cage.
  • The mat area is reserved for stretching and floor exercises such as core work.
  • Please bring your own towel to dry off during workouts.
  • Please wipe equipment after use with disinfectant and a paper towel or wipes provided at The GP.
  • No food or gum is allowed in the workout area. All drinks must be in a closed bottle.
  • Modest attire is required in all areas of the fitness center.
  • Questions, concerns, or maintenance requests may be sent directly to any staff person or written in the maintenance binder located behind the cardio equipment.
  • Please notify GP staff if you notice equipment being mishandled inappropriately.
  • First Aid supplies are available at the Welcome Center, cardio area & cycling room.
